For each employee, you have six tabs with data that you can record and review: Profile, Leaves, Calendar, Time off, Personal details, and Allowances.
Let's go through each one of them:
From this page you can personalize the professioal details of an employee, including the following:
To make any of these edits, follow these steps:
On this page, you have a perspective of all the leave of absence requests added by the employee. If it's needed, you can delete/cancel leave requests that have been added by mistake.
The calendar tab provides a calendar perspective of all the submitted time-off, including public holidays, with weekends highlighted. It can be used as a vacation planner by the employees.
4. Time off
On this page, you will be able to see all the allowances of the employee. The time off balance info is the same as what the user sees on their employee portal after logging. Note that if you want to see all the allowances for all the employees, head to Reports > Annual situation.
5. Personal details
If you want to track birthdays, the employee age, you can provide the employee's date of birth here. Additionally, on this page, you can add emergency contacts and a personal phone number.
You can customize yearly employee leave allowances on this tab and adjust this year's number of available days.
PRO accounts can change the email address of the employee at any time from the employee profile. Free accounts need to send us an email with the existing email and the new email. Note that the new email should not be already registered in LeaveBoard.
By default, our system works on a five-day working schedule Monday-Friday or Saturday-Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 hours per working day. If you would like to change the working schedule (80% of the time ie Monday - Thursday working, and Friday, Sunday, Saturday off), or the number of working hours per day (ie 7.5 hours per day), you can do it from the Employee profile. You can make such changes at the company-wide level from the company settings.
Note that our system doesn't allow shift planning, or having a variable working days/hours from one week/month to the other. It is oriented towards small and mid-sized businesses that work with full-time professionals.
