Cancel leave requests


It happens that you could make an error or want to change the details of your leave request. No problems.

As an employee, to cancel your request, follow these steps:

  1. From the Menu, select My leaves.
  2. On the leave that you would like to Cancel, click on Cancel request.

Why I can't cancel my requests that happened in the past?

LeaveBoard has some processes that prevent users from compromising the records. Employees can Cancel leave requests that will happen in the future.

If the Leave of absence takes place today or occurred in the past, you can't cancel it. You will have to ask your Administrator to cancel the request for you.


Can I edit my leave of absence request?

LeaveBoard doesn't allow for amending your request. You can only Cancel it and Book a new one.


How can I cancel employee leave requests as account administrator?

As an account administrator, you can cancel any leave. To cancel one of the leaves of absences added by any of your employees, follow these steps:

  1. From the Menu, click on Employees
  2. Select the Employee which you would like to cancel a Leave or Vacation
  3. Go to the Leaves tab
  4. On the leave that you would like to Cancel, click on Cancel request.
